The Alumni & Friends Society will host a “Tailgate” on Friday, September 27th from 5:30pm-6:30pm at PHS. All PHS students, families, friends, and alumni are invited.

The Alumni & Friends Society report being “excited to kick off our year and we hope [everyone] can join [them]!”

Funds from the event are used to support students and teachers in the district: “Because of the tremendous support we received last year, the Alumni & Friends Society awarded scholarships to 5 graduating Platteview Seniors!! AND, in addition to the scholarships, we were able to give monetary awards to Teacher & Paraprofessional of the year!”

“Nothing will dampen the spirit of Trojan Nation,” so rain or shine the event will take place. Attendees can find the “Tailgate” either outside north of PHS in the green space or inside in the commons area.
