Platteview’s Homecoming Dance, coordinated by Mrs. Zeleny, Mrs. Ehrke, and the sophomore class, is expected to be an ocean of fun. The doors open for students at 8:00 p.m. and the dance runs until 11:00 p.m., with the doors closing for late entry at 9:30 p.m.

Students of all classes are anticipating the 2018-2019 Homecoming Dance at Platteview. Samantha Russo of the freshman class says, “I’m excited for the Hawaiian theme this year and to hang out and dance with my friends.” This year’s dance is going to be an exciting experience for all who attend, both new and old. With the Homecoming Dance just around the corner, preparing and planning the night’s events is a must.  Zane Woods, a junior at Platteview, shared his plans for Homecoming night: “I plan to hang out with my friends throughout the night. I think we’re planning [to have] a bonfire after the dance.” As the day grows closer, excitement and anticipation grows as well, and the expectations for a great night are raised up high.
