The girls golf team has entered this season swinging! They are hard at work developing their technique to knock the competition off of the course. Lingering summer heat has not stopped them from playing several games already.

Coach Jim Jennings provided an inside look on the team:
AN: “What meets have you gone to?”
JJ: “We have played a dual v. Brownell-Talbot, at the Waverly Invitational and a triangular v. Omaha Gross and Omaha Roncalli. We had a dual v. Gretna on Tuesday and played at the Plattsmouth Invitational on Thursday.”

AN: “How are you doing/liking golf so far?”
JJ: “We have improved this year and hope to continue to see our scores improve. The girls have a great attitude and have worked on the things I have asked them to.”

AN: “What are your goals for this season?”
JJ: “My goal is to see the girls continue to improve each meet. They are committed to working on improving on a daily basis! Great attitudes!”

It is good to hear that our golf girls are excelling! Platteview is proud to have a persevering team like this one.
