As the summer sun casts its warm glow, many students and teachers embrace the season in many different ways. From traveling to sports, the experiences of this summer were diverse and created great storytelling experiences. Through their stories we explore how a season can create amazing memories.
For example, Ms. Caniglia had a very eventful summer traveling to Kansas City to see Quinn XCII, a popular music artist whose most recent hit is “Another Day in Paradise.” She also went to Minnesota for a fun and sentimental vacation where she went boating. But also participated in her best friend’s wedding which she said “that was probably the highlight of my summer was seeing my best friend walk down the aisle.” Ms. Caniglia had a summer that she will never forget and always hold close to her heart.
Many other people had experiences like this, including Mrs. Poppen who went and spent time not only with her volleyball players and team but also spent time with her family. She traveled to Kansas City and Madison, South Dakota. She said “My highlight of the summer has to be either when I went boating at Lake Madison and all of the memories I made along the way this summer”. Not just that, but she spent time with her kids by taking them to swim lessons, on zoo trips, schramm, and so much more. She commented on how she got a majority of her bucket list checked off, but she still has a few more boxes to complete next summer.
