The activities fair is an annual event that takes place before the school begins. The fair allows new students, specifically freshmen, to learn about possible clubs and activities around the school. Additionally, it allows for those new students to interact with upperclassmen and members of the clubs they may be interested in joining.
For upperclassmen, it provides the opportunity to meet incoming freshmen and obtain a better understanding of who they will be working with in their chosen clubs and activities. Macy Czech (12), who was running the Spanish Club table, said, “I like talking to people and promoting clubs, so it was a really fun night for me.”
The fair is accompanied by freshman orientation, in which freshmen get acquainted with the school, teachers, and administration. Additionally, students are able to make connections with future students, whether they be other freshmen, sophomores, or upperclassmen.
