Many members of the Platteview High School community annually enjoy wearing Halloween costumes, handing out candy, and decorating rooms and homes. This is a time for embracing a yearly opportunity with family and friends while enjoying spooky activities and the end of the season. October 31st is looked forward to yearly, whether that’s with candy, decorations, or enjoying moments with loved ones.
Trojan friends often plan their costumes to fit into a cohesive group. For example, Maren Ferguson (11), Marlee Ferguson (11), Estelle Redlightning (11), Erin Wyss (11), and Kaelynn Harder (11) followed a Marvel theme for their junior year’s spooky season. Their costumes include Thor, Loki, Wolverine, Deadpool, and Nightcrawler. Estelle Redlightning commented, “I’m most excited about the Deadpool and Wolverine duo this year, especially since the movie just came out!”
Dressing up as monsters, heroes, or even group costumes, Halloween reflects interests and passions while contributing to an unforgettable and significant time with family, friends, and peers.
