Graduation is a big accomplishment for each student to achieve, but what happens after students leave? Platteview High School alumni have the sky as their limit and strive to fulfill their goals as Trojan alum. With Homecoming 2025 close by, The Charioteer spoke with recent graduates from the Class of 2025.
Cassie Coenen (Class of 2025) is continuing to participate in, “the blood drive, tennis, volleyball, and more,” all while, “working towards [her] chemistry degree and my minor in business so [she] can continue [her] passion for pharmacy at UNMC.”

Macy Czech (Class of 2025) is, “looking to get involved in a physics club, a women in physics club, an astronomy club, and a film club,” as she is, “officially a declared mathematics major,” and, “exploring two other degree options – physics with an emphasis in astronomy, and film studies with an emphasis in film production.”
Platteview has been not only a place for learning, but a place of growing. Joslyn Klusaw (Class of 2025) said, “I learned good time management at Platteview while trying to balance activities and school.”
Evan Baatz (Class of 2025) has learned how to be good at public speaking through the PHS Speech Team. Baatz said, “I learned so much while being in Speech with Dr. Kersulov. I can’t imagine how much harder my classes would be if I didn’t do speech and have him as my mentor.”
