After returning to Nebraska, he taught and coached for four years at Conestoga. He then accepted his present position at Platteview in 2005. Outside of school he is a father of two: his son Dustin and his daughter Jordyn.

Q: What do you like most about Platteview High School?
A: I like Platteview as it is a perfect sized school and offers many things for every student. It is large enough to have many options and activities and yet small enough to get to know many of your fellow students.

Q: What are some of your hobbies outside of school?
A: My personal hobbies pertain to outdoor activities, anything historical, protecting our environment.

Q: What is one place to which you would like to travel and why?
A: Now that my son has moved to Southern California, I’d like to take a trip out there and drive up to Washington state and visit my daughter.

Q: What is some advice you would give to Platteview students?
A: The best advice I can give out is be a people person, talk with others, listen to the adults, have fun because after high school, it is work until you retire.

Q: What does it mean to be a Trojan?
A: Being a Trojan means to have pride in yourself and others around you. Always do the right thing and for the greater good.
