This year (2019) Platteview High School’s Athletics Department introduced their first all girls wrestling team. In gaining this team, many girls fought to pin their opponents and have fun. Senior Bailey Theel talked about her reasoning behind joining the wrestling team. Theel said, “Originally I joined to get in shape for track, but now in college, I am using track to get into shape for wrestling.”
