The annual Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, September 25th, 2021, at Platteview High School. This year, the dance will also include an outside area, moving the music and dancing to the terrace that overlooks.

The theme chosen by the student body was Hollywood Nights.  The theme was also included throughout the week’s Homecoming activities, adapting each day to a film, such as Blue Hawaiian and the horror classic, Halloween.

Last year, the Homecoming Dance was cancelled. Thus, for the freshmen and sophomores, it will be their first Homecoming dance. Senior

Bailey Fjell says, “I’m most excited to actually have a dance this year with everyone together again!” Senior Julia Waite added, “I just got my dress and I’m super excited to go with my friends!”
